The Marsh & Micklefield Big Local is one of 150 projects across Englandto be given at least £1m to make a massive and lasting positive difference to their communities. It’s about bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make their area an even better place to live.
At a local level in Wycombe Marsh and Micklefield the programme is managed by the Marsh and Micklefield Big Local Partnership – a group of residents and supportive people from other local organisations. The partnership has consulted with the wider community and produced a community plan which identifies three main areas of focus.
1. Improve Community Cohesion 2. Raise Aspiration for all 3. Enhance Educational Engagement
We are trying to find out what life is like for young people living here and what their needs are as in the future we hope to work with them to create projects that will benefit them.
If you are between 10 and 18 yrs old and live in Marsh or Micklefield you can do the survey on line here.
You can also pick up a survey pack at Hills Cafe, Micklefield Library, or at one of our summer fun days being run by Wycombe youth Action. See events page for more info!

We look to support a wide range of projects that fit in with our objectives of improving community cohesion, raising aspiration for all and enhancing educational engagement.
